Students will learn how to use a ruler by first measuring the intended flight path of Amelia Earhart. We will then learn about some of the navigational theory's of where she ended up. We will measure the degrees off of the flight path by using a protractor. Lastly we will measure the distance away from the intended path and the navigational theory path. Students will need a pencil. I will provide the worksheet and a printable ruler and protractor. Please cut out the ruler and protractor before class.
We will be talking about possible theories of Amelia Earhart's disappearance. Some of these theories talk about the possibility of torture and death. We will not get graphic or detailed into these theories.
