Math Grades 2-3: Place Value We will discuss the meaning of place value with examples of Hundreds, Tens, and Ones. Students will learn that the digit’s value, depends on its place. Students will fill in the blank to show which number goes with each place value. Students will write numbers in the correct place value as well. Examples for class: 1) 635 = __6__in the Hundreds Place Value, __3__in the Tens Place Value, and __5__in the Ones Place Value. 2) Fill in the Blank: 584 = __5__ in the Hundreds Place Value, __8__ in the Tens Place Value, and __4__ in the Ones Place Value. 3) 2 tens and 4 ones = __24__ 4) 600 + 70 + 3 = __673 I will place worksheets on the screen for students to follow along. This is a very interactive class. I will be engaging students by asking them questions and helping them understand Place Value.

I am also currently homeschooling my daughters (age 6 and 15) while teaching academics online through Zoom and Google Meet. I have a Bachelors in Education with a concentration in Physical Education and a Masters in Sport Management; both my degrees are from The University of Alabama. ROLL TIDE!
I am a mother of 5 kids ranging from ages 8 months to 15 years old. We have 2 dogs, 2 cats, and a lot of gold fish! I love my life!
