Students will improve the speed and accuracy of their computational skills.

Students will think flexibly and divergently to consider all possible combinations of number and operation to arrive at 24.

Students will communicate their reasoning clearly for their own solutions or if they object to another player’s solution.

I coached our school’s 24 team for many years and sponsored a club.  One year I had upwards of 65 children playing 24 in my room in the afternoons!
     I saw this game sharpen all levels of math students.  Students who practiced regularly gained confidence, speed, accuracy and flexibility in their problem solving.
