In this 75 minute course, students will master the fundamentals of solving algebraic equations in one variable. Mastery of this skill will rapidly improve students' algebraic fluency and prepare them for success in future high school math courses.

Concepts Covered:
Specifically, students will learn and practice the following:
*Solving 1-step equations using the appropriate inverse operations
*Solving 2-step equations using the appropriate inverse operations
*Solving multi-step equations using the distributive property and combining like terms
*Solving multi-step equations with variables on both sides of the equations

Recommended For:
This course is recommended for students currently taking Pre-Algebra who seek to master their equation-solving skills. In addition, this course may serve as advanced preparation for students currently in Accelerated Math 6 or Accelerated Math 7 or students in Algebra 1 who are seeking a refresher of their skills.
