This course is PART 2 of a continuing Grade 3 Math class. In this 9-week course (PART 2), students will begin each session with a quick review of the multiplication facts until mastered. These will be done through fun and engaging activities as this skill is essential for success in Math. During these learning packed lessons we will learn a NEW math topic each week, play math skill games for reinforcement, practice problem-solving techniques and complete guided practice. Students will be provided with multiple opportunities to show mastery of concepts taught and be given additional support as needed. Homework will be given each week so that students can practice the new concept taught. This class is perfect for advanced learners as well as those who struggle a bit and need reinforcement of the Grade 3 Math topics. My structured approach to teaching ensures that all learners receive an individualized experience. NOTE: This course will continue beyond these first 9 weeks into the year 2021 (PARTS 2 and 3) All Grade 3 topics will be covered in this course. Topics can be tailored to students' needs if all enrolled students are in agreement. Therefore the weekly pacing of the class can be adjusted to meet the needs of the collective class. Math Topics Covered in this course (Parts 1, 2 and 3): PART 1 (9 weeks)- Numbers (incl. Place Value) Skip Counting Subtraction Addition Multiplication (incl. Mastery of Multiplication Tables) Division PART 2 (9 weeks) : Number Theory Geometry. Fractions. Measurement. Time PART 3 (9 weeks) Pre-Algebra Data Estimation Money * Please note: Class times may vary a bit based on number of learners present / enrolled.
