課堂經歷
In this self paced class, learners will learn to draw realistic animals in their own time. we will learn Basic principles of realistic animal drawing, Anatomy and proportions of animals, Shading and texturing techniques, Capturing expressions and gestures of animals. The learners are expected to upload their drawings at end of the week and I will provide feedback and the necessary revisions for the drawing. learners are encouraged to provide feedback, comments about the class and any questions about the techniques. Every class we will start by watching the reference image. We will observe where the light source is and dictate how we will apply the shading. we will use simple shapes like circles, squares and triangles to understand the composition of the animal. After drawing the animal using fundamental techniques we will apply shading using different techniques such as hatching, crosshatching etc. At the end of the class you will have a beautiful realistic drawing of an animal. Communication will be via Outschool chat where the learner uploads the artwork and i will provide feedback to the learner.

Hi! I’m Shraya, a passionate art educator with a love for helping people of all ages unlock their creative potential. With dual degrees in Graphic Design and Fine Arts from Park University, my artistic journey has been diverse and exciting.
I’ve had the honor of winning the first-ever Art Battle in San Francisco and contributed illustrations to the award-winning book "One Way to Ask," which earned the prestigious Davinci Award for design. Additionally, I had the privilege of working on the renowned Pakistani Truck Project, featured at the Nelson Atkins Museum of Contemporary Art in Kansas City.My artwork has been exhibited across Kansas, Missouri, and California, reflecting my commitment to creating and sharing art.
Over the years, I’ve taught students ranging from children to seniors, including after-school programs with Young Rembrandts and classes for the older generation through Seniors Creating Art. Whether it's guiding young learners or fostering creativity in adults, I bring a fun, engaging, and enriching experience to every class. Let's create something amazing together!
