This is a fun ongoing class I will use directed drawing to teach students how to draw various Marvel super heroes and villains. We will draw one Marvel character during each class. Students will learn drawing and coloring techniques, in addition to sharing interesting facts about each character with other Marvel fans! Here is what to expect during each class session: - Teacher will announce which character will be drawn - We will discuss some facts and qualities about the character - Teacher will guide the students through the drawing process and check progress along the way - Creativity is encouraged for students to make their drawing unique - Students will have an opportunity to show their drawing at a given time during class or by posting it after class Schedule will be as follows: February 18 - Iron Man February 25- Captain America March 4 - Miles Morales

Students will learn different drawing techniques that will encourage them to use their creativity in a fun and supportive environment.

Hello!
My name is Sasha DeVoe (a.k.a Teacher Sasha). I am an artist and educator. I have over 15 years experience teaching core subjects, STEM, Art, and Technology classes to Elementary and Middle School students. I have a B.S. degree in Early Childhood Education and a Masters degree in Elementary Reading and Literacy. I LOVE being innovative and encouraging creativity in my students! When I am not teaching, I am usually off designing something for my shop, Sweet Art Paperie. I also love spending time with my family and creating custom artwork. I am here to teach a variety of subjects such as Art, Reading,Technology, and many things in between. I believe every student has the potential to do amazing things. My goal is to help every student maximize that potential while having fun!
