This course is the second of a two-part course. It is a modified version of a Science Elective course offered to high school and accelerated middle school students that I taught in NY. This second semester introduces the biological aspects, fishing methods, and environmental issues associated with the ocean. The topics per class are as follows : Class 1 - Algae and Zooplankton - The microscopic plants and animals that provide energy to the rest of the world. Class 2 - Porifera/ Cnideria -...
Students will learn how to distinguish the anatomical and physiological differences between marine organisms in fine detail.

Homework will be in the form of links to specific YouTube Videos that will further enhance the topics, plus worksheets. Learners can complete them either as a group or individually. 1 -2 hours per week. Two group projects will be assigned in the beginning.1 - 2 每週課外時間
