Let's use items that you probably already have around the house to make stunning artwork! This is a hands-on course where students will be guided step-by-step to make their creation. Caution - it will get messy... a sure sign you know it will be fun! The creation will take some time to dry, but after a bit of time, your child will end up with a creation that can be hung on the fridge, put in a frame, used as wrapping paper, or folded to make a card for a friend! White cardstock or construction paper can also be used, but the paper may not absorb the color well) Plastic Spoon/Popsicle Stick/Painbrush Food Coloring (or liquid watercolors and an eyedropper to drop the colors) Large tray to contain the mess (a cookie sheet is perfect if you don't have an art tray) Scissors Glitter (optional if your child wants to add a little pizzazz at the end) A work area that can get messy A place to set your child's wet art to dry it off
Scissors will be used briefly. Please take caution.
