These ongoing Mandarin classes for beginners provide a supportive environment for learning the Chinese language. Each class is 30 minutes long and is designed to introduce students to the fundamentals of Mandarin. Teacher Hanxi Wang, a native Mandarin speaker hailing from Fuzhou, China, has been residing in Waterloo, Canada, for over 5 years, pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering. With a passion for teaching, Hanxi currently offers online tutoring in both math and Chinese, providing students with a unique blend of academic and language expertise.
Teacher Jen Wang, with a diverse background in Canada and the U.S., preserved her Mandarin Chinese heritage in Taipei, Taiwan, excelling in the local school system. She pursued higher education at UBC, specializing in Chinese literature and earning a Master's in Archival Studies.
