All of these are suggested but not required. Students should have some way of drawing and writing. This could be digital or pen and paper. Here are some supplies that might be helpful (optional):
-Graph paper, pen and pencil. 
-A copy of the D&D 5th Edition Players Handbook, Dungeon Master's Guide, and/or Monster Manual. 
-Physical or digital dice: D20, D12, D8, D6, D4.

There will likely be references to fantasy violence in the context of adventuring and storytelling. 

Additionally, if we need to reference any rules during our discussion and campaign creation, I may refer to dnd.wizards.com or D&D Beyond. Students will not be asked to create an account or to visit the website. I may share my screen while I am reading a rules reference. Wizards of the Coast has made sections of the rules free and publicly available on both websites. 

If a student wishes to visit the website or create an account, then parents should review the privacy policy and help the student do so outside of class due to the recent COPPA privacy and data laws that were passed.
