Do you have textured natural, kinky, curly hair? Do you sometimes find yourself lost on how to care for it? Do you want to learn more about it, but don’t know where to start? This is a class for you! In this 4 week class, students will get to learn about their natural hair, no matter what form it takes. All hair is good hair, and we should love the way it grows from our scalps. In this class, students will learn about hair porosity, and what that means for the types of products that work...
Students will learn, and better understand their hair from the textures, to what it needs to thrive. Students will learn basic hair styles, and other methods to take care of their hair.
For students who want to try styles during class (these items are optional): *Wide tooth comb *Hairbrush *Scrunchies/ponytail holders/hair ties/hair bands, etc *Headscarf
For a better understanding on how certain styles or hair techniques work learners may have to practice the styles/techniques on their own hair. For example, being able to loose hair out to practice detangling, or twists.
