In this class, students will learn about many life lessons through the characters. They will learn this by reading the books and participating in collaboration boards, video discussions, and homework assignments to deepen their understanding. All class assignments are meant to be interactive in the following ways: learner and learner & learner and instructor. The only background knowledge for this class is the ability to read. There will be homework assignments. The homework assignments will include but will not be limited to reading, collaboration boards, video discussion, character analysis, talking to the text notes, and watching the corresponding movie. There will be two forms of discussion: collaboration boards and video discussions. For this work, learners will have the opportunity to interact with other learners and express their ideas and thoughts on the reading and on a variety of topics. Learners will be evaluated on their participation and completion of homework assignments. There will be a place for students to ask questions within the classroom or they may send the instructor a message. Please allow 24 hours for responses. Parents and learners may schedule a one-on-one.
