In this one-time class, we will review the secondary colors (orange, purple and green), and how they can be used to create a painting of a pumpkin from a unique perspective. We will draw a pumpkin in a corner of the canvas/canvas panel, paint the background purple, the pumpkin orange, and the stem green. By using purples in the green and orange areas, we can create shadows and dimension (adding yellow for highlighted areas). Because students work at varied paces, artwork may or may not be...
As a licensed art teacher, I have developed techniques for breaking down drawing and painting lessons into simple, easy-to-follow steps.
