Welcome to Painting Rainbows! In this class, young Learners will draw their own rainbow using simple shapes they already know. We'll discuss and practice holding the paintbrush properly, identify the primary colors and how to mix secondary colors, and, of course, paint a beautiful rainbow! This will be a joyful, confidence boosting class for Learners who want to play with paint and color! It may get a bit messy (you know your little one best!) so laying newspaper underneath their painting or...
Students will be able to recognize primary colors and mix secondary colors confidently. Students will develop fine motors skills and coordination as they gain experience using a paintbrush. Students will gain confidence as artists.
Pencil Paper Paintbrush (3 or 4 recommended) Red Paint Blue Paint Yellow Paint (tempera paint is recommended - watercolors can also work for this class)
