In this class, children will learn the basics of healthy cooking and nutrition. They will gain practical cooking skills, understand the importance of balanced meals, and discover how to make tasty recipes that are good for them. Learners will build independence as they complete steps on their own, such as measuring ingredients or mixing, fostering a sense of accomplishment and self-reliance. This class features simple, age-appropriate, easy-to-follow recipes and easy-to-handle ingredients. Ms. Elizabeth has a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and a Master's Degree in Special Education. She taught in a public school setting since 2015, including teaching exclusively online in 2020 during the pandemic. In her spare time, she enjoys running, baking, going to the beach, and spending time with friends and family. Ms. Elizabeth's favorite thing about teaching is seeing children’s confidence boost and watching them take risks!
