課堂經歷
Welcome young artists! Join this fun class to draw beautiful artwork using one of your senses: hearing! Each week a different song is played (from a slide on my screen), and we use the rhythm, melody, and movement we hear in the sounds to draw what we hear. What kinds of lines fit the music? What kinds of colors fit the music? It is up to you which makes your art unique to you! We'll talk about a few lines and shapes and then begin! During and after the song, students have time to create their art. The instrumental songs will be played from a slide on my screen only. Please, see the outline below for song examples. The song choices typically have a rhythm or melody that are easily visualized in some way or evoke a feeling for this drawing activity. Each student has the opportunity to share at the end of class. This allows everyone to share their hard work and compare if there are any similar patterns to be found from the same piece of music even if drawn by different artists. Hello! My name is Ms. C. I am so excited to see you in my Outschool classroom! I offer many classes related to dogs, wildlife, science, reading, and writing. I love teaching topics from the beautiful animals here on Earth to the gorgeous stars in the sky. I love incorporating reading, art and science all together. I have my Associate’s degree in Animal Science, Associate’s degree in Elementary Education, and my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary and Middle Dual Education with a specialization in Science. I am a certified teacher, and I am currently a substitute teacher and an Outschool teacher. I strive to support all my students in learning and welcoming them to a safe space. I encourage creativity, pursuing interests, and a passion for lifelong learning. I enjoy reading, writing, and being outside. A hobby that has always helped me relax has been drawing or painting.
