👋 Welcome to Letters, Numbers and Shapes! This class is geared toward kinesthetic and tactile learners. Each week, we will use clay or dough to form different letters, numbers and shapes to practice our visual recognition as well as how each figure is made! Students will practice and improve their letter, shape and number recognition by forming these figures with clay or dough. Students will be able to recognize letters, shapes and numbers in their real life.
Along with my B.A. in Education from Francis Marion University, I have over 5 years of experience teaching professionally to Elementary and Early-Childhood aged students. I have taught in brick-and-mortar classrooms as well as online. While teaching ESL online with VIPKid, I earned a TESOL certification. My classes will emphasize social-emotional learning, as I believe it includes important skills that allow a child to grow with strong interpersonal, social, and empathetic competence.
