In this five week class, we will learn to write a summary and then will learn creative techniques to revise and edit our summary. Week 1 - I will read a short fairy tale and will model how to fill in a graphic organize that is used with the Someone - Wanted - But - So - Then method of writing a story. Students will have their own graphic organizer to fill in. Then I will demonstrate how to turn the notes on the graphic organizer into a paragraph. If time permits, students will hear...
