In this one time class we will explore the wonderful world of butterflies. The children will have many opportunities to socialize with each and myself as we explore real photos of caterpillars and butterflies, and share our encounters with these insects. We will also learn the parts of a caterpillar and a butterfly and discuss their similarities and differences. At the end of class the children can create their own butterflies and caterpillars following a few easy art steps. I can not wait to meet you all in class.

I have been teaching for the last 27 years in a variety of settings. I have worked with children 3 to 12 years of age. I have created curriculum for 3-6 year old's, tutored, been a nanny, an assistant director, assistant teacher for early learners in the school district, and taught English (ESL) online. I have a BA in Early Childhood Education and a BA in Psychology. I love to find creative ways for children to learn and have fun! I believe children learn best through a variety of means including: repetition, writing, movement, creativity, socialization, fun, and a positive attitude.
