課堂經歷
We all experience big emotions including anger and frustration, but often, we see that these emotions are the hardest to control at times. This class is designed to teach you techniques and inform you on ways to handle those big emotions when they pop up in your life. Topics covered: Week 1: What is anger and how does it affect me? We'll discuss triggers, warning signs, deep breathing and more coping skills to deal with anger. Week 2: What are the Zones of Regulation and how can I use them in my daily life? We'll learn more ways to cope with our emotions depending on which Zone you're in at the time. Week 3: What is a Growth Mindset? We'll learn the difference between a growth and fixed mindset why it's important to have a growth mindset. Week 4: Where is your "Happy Place"? We'll discuss the power of mindfulness and learn another coping skill technique that will help bring calmness to the body and mind. All of my classes are led with empathy, kindness, patience, and understanding. I will lead this class in the same manner. The goal of this course is for learners to acquire skill in managing their anger and other big emotions by using the many different coping skills taught throughout each class.

What is Anger and how does it affect me?
In this lesson, the learner will become familiar with their anger triggers and learn 5 coping skills that will help them gain control of their anger.
課 2:
What are the Zones of Regulation?
In this lesson, the learner will gain an understanding of the Zones of Regulation and the importance of being able to identify their emotions. The learner will become familiar with more coping skills to use in each Zone.
課 3:
What is a Growth Mindset?
In this lesson, the learner will comprehend the importance of having a growth mindset. They will also recognize how having a fixed mindset can lead to anger and having a growth mindset can help control their anger.
課 4:
Where is your "Happy Place"?
In this lesson, the learner will become familiar with mindfulness and how to use a coping skill technique that will help them manage their anger.
