Let,s Talk - 練習英語會話技巧的社交課堂

*This class was formerly named "Talk Time with Teacher Elisha". New Name, Same Fun Class.* 

This class is for both ESL and Native English speakers. Students should have at least basic English speaking and comprehension skills for this class.

I believe that play and real-life experience are the best ways for kids to learn. The best part of it is, they don't even realize the learning is happening!

During these meetings, we will do brief introductions at the beginning. These introductions may include name, where you're from (country), and something you like...etc...

Small groups allow for increased interaction. We will talk about what interests the learners have and the discussion will be guided and supported from there. If the group is a little hesitant, then we may use ice breaker activities to spark some inspiration. These are fantastic ways for older kids to practice and increase their confidence in conversational English as well as their social skills.

My goal is for every learner to leave my class feeling more confident. Confidence is what helps inspire progress.

I feel that children should be encouraged to follow their passions. Children need to know that they can have what they want for their lives if they have the correct tools and motivation to get there. I hope to help build confidence in my students and to give them some of those tools. I also believe that not every child learns the same way. Education is not a one-size-fits-all experience. I look forward to helping your child learn how they learn.

While I offer an extensive collection of class content choices, my specialty is meeting students where they’re at and making the course material accessible to all students, regardless of the topic. I love to be silly with my students and encourage interaction in all of my classes. I want learners to feel at ease and safe to be themselves in my classroom. My small class sizes and relaxed, encouraging teaching style allow me to tailor my classes to each student’s needs and learning style, resulting in learners walking away from class confident and smiling.
