Students will learn the fundamentals of conversational Japanese language, which include:
*Introducing yourself/greetings including the country of origin, family structure, age, etc.
*Making new friends
*Asking simple questions about an object and a person.
*Expressing preferences.
*Talking about your family.
Students will also explore Japanese cultures and customs including school experiences.  In addition, students will learn to write their name in Katakana and begin learning Hiragana symbols.
As a cumulative assignment, students will create a review game to share with the class.

I am a certified school teacher.  For the past 15 years, I have been teaching music and choir.  I teach Japanese Language and Culture during the short Winter term.  I was born and raised in Japan, and I love to share my experience and knowledge with you.
