讓我們說德語 1：單字和短語初學者，適合 4-8 歲

In this 12-week course, students will meet twice a week to learn the basics of the German language. This class is perfect for beginning learners who want to improve their German vocabulary and start speaking some simple sentences in German. We will cover a new topic with new vocabulary words and phrases every week. We will practice speaking in class by singing songs, practicing speaking with one another and playing games. I will use powerpoints/google slides and different websites that help with student interactions. Students will also have to practice at home in order to increase vocabulary retention.
Depending on the group I might split students into breakout rooms in order for them to speak to one another. 

Every week will cover a new topic:

Week 1: Introductions, Greetings 
Week 2: Numbers
Week 3: Shapes and Colors
Week 4: Animals
Week 5: Fruits and Vegetables 
Week 6: Family and Home 
Week 7: Feelings
Week 8: Body Parts
Week 9: School
Week 10: Clothing 
Week 11: Weather 
Week 12: Vehicles

Each class will have a similar structure:

- Greetings 
- Introductions 
- Day of the week
- Month of the year
- Counting the day of the month 
- Learning of new vocabulary
- Game 
- Goodbye

I will speak a mixture of English and German in my classes. The amount of German spoken will always depending on the group and will increase toward the end of the course. 

**This course will follow up with a 12-week "Let's Speak 2: Words and Phrases Beginners" course. This course will go together well with other courses like: "Let's Read German: Letter Sounds and More!"**
