This Level B Guided Reading course is designed for beginning readers in pre-k or kindergarten that could benefit from extra practice with reading, sight words, and phonics skills. My goal is to help early readers gain confidence in their skills in an engaging and relaxed environment by providing an encouraging space to explore letter sounds, sight words, and easy readers. By keeping these classes small I am able to give each student the opportunity to participate throughout class and practice...
Students will learn sight words, decoding strategies, and how to read with fluency.
I am a certified teacher with a degree in Elementary Education. I have been a teacher for 10 years. The past 4 years I have taught Pre-K and Kindergarten and love it!
Students will need pencil and paper OR a white board and dry erase marker.
