This class takes an immersion approach to gradually introduce students to the German language. The instructor will speak exclusively in German and encourage students to reply to questions and/or repeat phrases. Context, pictures, and body language will be used to demonstrate the meaning of words and phrases to students. Tips for a Successful Class: 1. Teach your child to mute and unmute (if possible). This way, they can participate independently. 2. Supervise your child, especially if they can't seem to stay in front of the screen. There is nothing I can do to bring them back!! 3. Keep the surroundings quiet and free of side conversations. If the child's surroundings are quiet, you can leave them unmuted. If there is disruptive background noise, I may be forced to mute them. 4. Allow them to bring a toy (if it won't be unreasonably distracting). Talking about the toy in German can be a great icebreaker!
