Students get to play on UNO together through a private server I will make! I will need the Student's ID number (shown on their profile on UNO) to friend them and invite them to my private server. Class Format: There is no formatted curriculum we are following as it is student-led. Students that join in during any period won't miss anything. This can be a come-and-go class or stay the entire time. Students will have a blast each week! The game, UNO, can be played on an Ipad, tablet, or phone. The game will need to be installed for students to play. The app is entirely free to get; no purchases are necessary. As students join the class, I will be inviting students to my private server. I suggest all students get into class about two minutes early as I cannot let anyone else in after five minutes into the class. Things to know: - 3 students max - 1 student minimum - 6 rounds - 3 minutes per round - The app will need to be installed (and updated if needed) - 25 minutes long - Ongoing class Cards and rules used: - Numbers 0-9 - Wild +4 card - +2 cards - Wild cards - Colored stack - Stack +2 and +4 cards Being on the game and having zoom up on the same device is not suggested, as I'm not sure this would work well, depending on the device you're on.

As students will be playing on my private server, there will be no worry about other players' names. So as long as the children in the class have an appropriate name, all is good. There is chatting, but it is pre-generated chats where kids can only say the options there, such as "hello" or "change color to blue."

My name is Cassie. I host a variety of Minecraft classes.
A bit about myself: I have a bachelor's degree in English and Literature (May, 2023). I also have a 150-hour TEFL/TESOL certificate. I have the most experience teaching children, 4 to 11 years old, how to draw, play Minecraft, and learn American Sign Language (ASL).
I love Minecraft. I started playing Minecraft since I was a child. It has been a part of my life for roughly 10 years now. I think Minecraft is a wonderful addition to life as you get to relax, but also challenge yourself if you'd like. It's a wonderful game to develop skills such as patience, survival instincts, teamwork, and creativity.
Interesting facts about me: I'm 21 years old. I'm the eldest of two siblings of which one of them, and my mother, work on this platform. I have a cat named Leo who is a rescue cat with Feline leukemia (FeLV). I was homeschooled from 12-15 years old (at least 5 years before the pandemic happened). I started college at 16. My interests (for careers) consist of piloting (only 15/16 flight hours so far - currently not flying), cybersecurity, and UX Design.評論
