In this ongoing course, students will meet to play a standards-based virtual math game – Prodigy - as well as to interact with peers! This class will be facilitated by a Certified Master Teacher! Students will be assessed for their math levels prior to class so that I can differentiate for their math needs! Based on this placement assessment, I will assign students lessons/challenges on Prodigy that will help build this area of strength! Weekly Class Breakdown: Tuesday: Placement...
Students will improve their math skills with a placement test, engaging math lessons, challenges, and games, and will take a post-assessment at the end of each week to assess progress!
Two devices are ideal for this class - a computer/laptop and, additionally, a phone/tablet. Students will also need to be able to navigate to and access Prodigy.
