Clash Royale is a popular mobile game! Players build decks of cards which they use to battle each other on a fun animated battlefield. In this class we will talk about Clash Royale. Our favorite cards, tournaments, clans, battle strategies, and more. We will also play the game together. Players can add each other as friends on the app and battle against each other or team up for cooperative play. There are many different game modes that friends can play together. We will decide what types of games to play in class. Students do not have to play to join the class. They can join just to chat and talk with others with similar interests. This will be a very loosely structured class that will allow for student led discussion and gameplay. It is very important that everyone remains respectful towards each other. I will be monitoring gameplay and discussion during the class. Weekly topics: Week of 8/01 - Why do you like Clash Royale? Any other mobile games? Play together! Week of 8/08 - Favorite Cards? Play together! Week of 8/15 - Tournaments. Play together! Week of 8/22 - Clan discussion. Play together! These are just starting points for discussion. We will see where the discussion goes in class. Clash Royale is a FREE mobile app and does contain in app purchases. Please monitor your students activity on the app.

If students wish to play together in class they will need: 1. Mobile device 2. Downloaded and installed Clash Royale app 3. Internet connection 4. SuperCell ID (can be done in the app) - this requires an email to set up and is used to add friends to play together with (I will send screenshots) Please make sure you have all of these things set up before class starts so we can right to playing! If your student does not wish to play, and just wants to chat, they above is not necessary.
