In this class, learners will paint a colorful Ostrich painting with no experience necessary! This is a beginner-friendly class, so you do not have to know how to paint to complete this awesome painting. This will be an hour long class, where we will start with ice breakers then transition into painting. Students will paint along with me while learning fun facts about Ostritch. Students will be introduced to the fundamental basics of painting that includes blending and the importance of how their brush choices shape the outcome of their painting. They will also learn how basic shapes can create real objects.
For over 4 years I have been teaching Adults and kids, weekly, at a studio in my hometown. Each of my classes is an educational experience in addition to a fun artistic environment. My classes are beginner-friendly, so no experience is necessary! I will easily guide each learner into creating their own beautiful masterpiece!
CANVAS. This class time is allotted for an 11x14 canvas size. Feel free to use canvas paper or watercolor paper as well. ACRYLIC PAINT. Colors needed are : Orange, Pink, Blue, Green, Red, Yellow, White, and Black. Students can bring any additional colors they like. This is a very colorful painting so choose more colors to bring if you'd like! BRUSHES: 1" Flat Brush, #12 round brush, and a small detail brush. Keep in mind, you do not have to get brushes with these exact measurements. A big, medium, and small brush with a pointed tip will work perfectly fine. White paper plate (paint palette) Blow dryer Water Cup Napkins Apron (optional)
