In this one time class, students will create fun summertime art using patterned washi tape. Students will be able to choose what shapes they would like to use for their artwork. Students will have time to create more than one piece of summertime art and there will be time for interaction with each other as we work. Please have the following supplies ready at the beginning of class: -Several rolls of patterned washi tape (available at Target, Walmart, Michaels, etc) -White Paper- Thicker works better like card stock or drawing paper. Thin copy paper will work in a pinch -Pencil -Eraser -Scissors -Colored Construction Paper or Scrap Booking paper (This will be used for the "frame" and the color and/or pattern are up to the student) -Glue Stick
