In this one time class for 3-5 year olds we will make a turkey! One skill to help young children with their fine motor skills is to rip paper. We will paint our clothespin brown to start, and give it time to dry. Then we will take brown, red, orange, and yellow construction paper and rip it! The sizes and shapes don’t matter. We will use those pieces to glue onto a half of a paper plate to make the “feathers” of the turkey. Then we will make the “face”, and clip it together to make our final...
Learners will need a classic chip clip, brown paint, and paint brush, a paper plate, and colored construction paper (brown, red, orange, and yellow are typical, but you’re welcome to do whatever!).
An adult will need to help them cut the plate either before or during the class.
