The class will start with a chat about what the students think clouds are made of and how rain works. We will then talk about the water cycle in nature and cloud formation. Then, we'll make our own cloud (adult assistance needed here!) and discuss the results of our little experiment Students are welcome to do the experiment with me (a list of materials is listed below) or just watch me do it. Students will learn to formulate and test a hypothesis. They will learn about the water cycle and how clouds are made.
I am a science communicator of 20 years with experience teaching science concepts to children and performing experiments with them.

A clear jar with lid- the jar should be glass or other material that can withstand hot water; the lid can be the proper lid or bigger. 2. Ice cubes 3. Hot water 4. Hair spray, deodorant spray or other similar spray. 5. The colouring in sheet 6. Another white sheet 7. Scissors 8. Glue 9. Colouring in materials
This experiment involves HOT WATER so adult assistance is needed if the students are doing the experiment with me.
