Students will learn to build on their strengths and improve their weaknesses.
Students will learn to analyze their own gameplay in order to realize what strategies might not work.
Students will learn character-specific combos, based on their favourite character to play with.
Students will learn pro-level techniques, such as buffering or proper shield dropping
Students will learn how to set up their controllers in an optimal way for their style of gameplay.
Students will learn official/standard tournament rules, including stage lists.

Over all else,
Students will learn to have fun play Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, making new friends, and improving a skill.

If continuing to practise, students will be able to see and feel themselves improve throughout the class. At the end of the course, I will create and provide each student with a conclusion video that will demonstrate the skills they have learned and mastered, thus showing their improvement throughout the course.
