In this class we will be learning about bats! We will learn about the different types of bats, what they eat, where they live, and so much more. A lot of people fear bats because they do not know much about them. I love learning and teaching about bats because there are so many cool things bats can do! This class will be a one time, 35 minute class that will cover a wide variety of bat topics. There will be slides with facts, discussion questions, and activities. I belive that students learn best when they are having fun and talking with their peers- so that is how I strive for my classes to be!

Students will learn about the different species of bat, what different types of bats eat, where they live, and how they find food and get around in the dark. Some vocabulary words that will be covered are nocturnal, roost, echolocation, and hibernate.
