For this 4-week self-paced class, we will be learning about different types of insects that we know, and maybe some we do not know. We will also learn why some insects are beneficial to us on Earth. We will also be creating fun projects each week that we will be sharing on the classroom page. There will be supplies needed for each week’s projects: Week 1- Empty toilet paper roll, yellow and black construction paper, googly eyes, liquid glue, scissors, markers, black pipe cleaners. Week 2- Paper plate, red paint or markers, tape, googly eyes, black construction paper, scissors, liquid glue, pipe cleaners. Week 3- Clothespin, green paint or markers, googly eyes, pipe cleaners, hot glue (with grown-up’s help), magnet. Week 4- Clothespin, Coffee filter, pipe cleaners, googly eyes, liquid glue (or hot glue with grown-up’s help), different colored markers, small spray bottle with water.
