課堂經歷
We'll have a little "fishing talk" as we introduce ourselves to see if any of the children have used jointed fishing lures before, but fishing experience is not necessary to be successful with this drawing lesson. I'll show them some of my fishing lure paintings to inspire them. Then I'll explain that underneath all the paint is a drawing and that I'll be walking them through the steps of how to specifically draw a single-jointed glide bait fishing lure while I draw along with them. We'll...
Students will learn how to draw a single-jointed fishing lure and how to apply that to a multi-jointed fishing lure. While we draw them, your child will also learn about the most common parts of a fishing lure as well as many optional parts, too. In the final step of adding color, students will learn about blending, highlighting and shading techniques. Other than drawing skills, your child will learn about the purpose of a jointed fishing lure and how to recognize one.
pencil, eraser, sharpener at least 1 piece of drawing paper or a sketchbook or even a sheet of copier paper will work crayons or colored pencils (or even the twistable style of either of those) Optional Drawing Supplies: silver or gold colored pencils or silver or gold metallic pens (for the metal parts of the lures) and possibly a white gel pen for any reflections of light on the lure Optional prop or reference for your child (if he or she already has one): Your child may want to show us his or her own jointed fishing lure sometime during our class, but we want the children to be safe and not get cut by accidentally touching the sharp part of a hook. So it would be safer if the lure is still in a package or box that has a transparent side to see through while still protecting your child from any cuts. If you believe it is safer for your child not to have access to an actual lure during our class, please do not allow him or her to have one. We'll leave that up to the parents to decide. Thank you!
