課堂經歷
In this ongoing class, learners ages 4-7 will use both creativity and social skills as they color with new friends. Whether your child is a social butterfly, an introvert, or anywhere in between, ALL are welcome to come and socialize in this class! My primary goal for this class is for every learner to have a safe space where they can make new friends, practice their communication and interpersonal skills, and let their voice be heard. I will also try to maintain a balance so that every learner is heard in this class; for example, I may ask some fun icebreaker questions to get my quieter students involved and participating. Rest assured, I will do my best to make your child feel relaxed and at ease in this class. In this ongoing class, there is not a specific topic or theme per week; rather, this is a learner-driven class where we get together, color, and socialize with new friends. Learners are welcome to bring their own coloring pages to class, or they can print out and color the page I will provide in the classroom. Each meeting will be broken down as follows: 1. Greetings and question of the day 2. Color and chat 3. Show and tell 4. Final thoughts and goodbyes If you have any questions about this class, feel free to contact me and I will be happy to help! Hello there! My name is Miss Katelynn, and I LOVE to teach! I have my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and currently teach 3rd grade at a private school. I have experience teaching 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade in the classroom, and also work with 3rd-5th graders on a weekly basis at my church. The elementary ages are my favorite!
One of my biggest goals in teaching is for every student to leave my class feeling encouraged, empowered, and valued. Students will gain important knowledge and skills (and hopefully have a lot of fun!) in my classes, all while feeling welcomed and comfortable.
