Let’s celebrate Indepenance Day together! If students are comfortable they can wear red, white and blue or any fun July 4th items. If they have hats, glasses or flags feel free to bring those as well! Together we will be able to learn and have fun while celebrating! I hope you will join me! The outline of the class is as follows: -Introductions -Hear the National Anthem -Talk about why July 4th is celebrated -Hear fun facts about the USA and learn how it got its name. -Learn who is on the United States bills (money) -Learn why the USA has 2 states that aren't connected by land to the largest part of the USA -Look at some of the United States most famous landmarks -Students can share why they like the United States and where they might want to visit in the United States

Welcome!
When students are interested in what they are doing, learning they will WANT to learn! I hope that your students will love to learn and become lifelong learners. I want all children to feel comfortable, engaged, encouraged and have fun in my classes I have worked with students from ages 0-14 for over 20 years. I have held several other jobs than teaching which I adored but at this point this is my passion.
My teaching experience comes from multiple sources. Online I have taught thousands of children overseas to learn English through VIPKid. VIPKid (now VIPTeacher) is known for their vigorous standards and training. I have also taught for an elite online program, called Synthesis. Synthesis is an elite program created by the one of the founders of Ad Astra. (Ad Astra is the school that Elon Musk created at SpaceX.) I have also taught thousands of children right here on Outschool since 2020.
Offline teaching experience comes from teaching at a Montessori pre-school, teaching swim and gym classes, summer camps and Sunday school. I also have taught students with a wide range of mental and physical abilities. All students are welcome in my classes and I am willing to make accommodations if requested.
My education consists of a BA in psychology, a BA in Conflict Resolution, TESL, TEOFL, over 40 online teaching certificates, mental health first aid certification, and palliative care certification.
I have two children who are everything to me. I homeschool them and we love going on adventures together. In my spare time I love travelling, baking, camping, Disney, swimming, the beach, water activities, working out, reading and all things full of sparkle and glitter! You can always find me taking a course or earning some kind of certificate.
