This class is highly interactive. Students will be encouraged to share their ideas and to encourage each other throughout class. At the beginning of class, we will talk about our favorite things about fall, look at fall pictures for inspiration, and students will have a chance to show us/tell us something they like about fall. Learners are encouraged to bring a fall nature treasure to show us! They may want to show us a colorful leaf they found, a pumpkin, tell us something they like to do in fall... it will be an open time for sharing. Then, we will talk about building strategies for different fall Lego® building ideas. After brainstorming and trying a few ideas together, builders will spend time during class creatively, free building and talking about their fall building brick creations. Students may not fully complete their fall creations during class and that is okay. Hopefully they will leave class inspired to try some new techniques and to continue celebrating fall Lego® Style! Students should bring loose Lego to class. They are also encouraged to bring a fall nature treasure (colorful leaves, a pumpkin...) or a fall book to share as inspiration.

Hello Families,
My name is Danielle Day. I have a passion for inspiring young learners! I have a degree in Elementary Education. I have taught in both homeschool and public elementary school settings over the the last 18 years. I have also taught ESL online. Aside from teaching, I have coached basketball and a Building Brick League Team. I think learning should be authentic, engaging, and fun! My husband and I have 3 sons. As a family, we enjoy playing games, reading, riding our bikes, building with building bricks, and exploring nature.
- If you do not see dates listed for a class, that does not mean that I'm no long teaching the class or that it isn't awesome. It just means that right now, I have more class ideas than available hours in the day. I try to balance opening a variety of classes and leaving myself some time to be able to accommodate requested classes. Please never hesitate to send me a message requesting that I open more sessions of a class!
