Minecraft Bedrock Edition on Windows 10 or 11 PC, Xbox One or Series S/X, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 or 5, iOs and iPadOS devices, and Android devices. 

Your learner will need to have a Microsoft Xbox xbox.com account to access gamer tag name and allow permissions for friend requests and to join a private world by invite. Please send me their gamer tag privately immediately upon enrollment and read the Classroom Welcome message upon enrollment.

Minecraft

Please send me a Minecraft friend request upon enrollment and your learner's gamer tag (from their xbox.com account) privately. I will then send world invites at the beginning of class. They will need to send me a friend request as soon as possible and preferably at least 2 hours before class. Please make sure their permissions are set to allow friends to see them online and send world invites. I give detailed instructions in our classroom welcome message. The settings and friend requesting needs to be completed before I launch my cross-platform, multiplayer, private world and may take significant class time for you to do at the last minute and during class time affecting all learners. This class has limited sections.

Our class will be playing in Adventure Mode in my private Minecraft Bedrock world. Please verify that your learner is comfortable in using their specific device. Minecraft mobs are present in one completely optional carnival game for players to use an enchanted stick to knock them into rings for points. There is no player vs player or destroying mobs in this game. 

Please join Outschool on a separate device than the Minecraft device if possible, restart your Minecraft device about 10 minutes before class, press play on Minecraft and join one of your own worlds. Verify that you see my gamer tag as a friend who is online also. I will send world invites while I am in the Outschool classroom with each learner. There are resource packs needed to be downloaded.
