Learning the vowel letters and sounds is the KEY to learning to READ.  After all, every word in the English language must contain at least one vowel!  

I have created "vowel people" by integrating the letter into a picture!  In addition, I have created a simple story to go along with each vowel person.  This helps kids to engage and retain the information.  For example, Letter A needs to sneeze!  Letter A says /ah/ /ah/ /ah/ as in achoo!  Small A forms the head of the person.  When a child sees letter A in print, they will think it looks like vowel puppet A's head and that will help them recall the letter sound.
