邊學邊學50州之歌！

Learning the names of all fifty United States is very important... but I think is even more important is that you can locate them on a map! I learned this song when I was in 1st grade and it always comes in handy when looking on a map! In these 4 courses we will break down each border of the United States (Northern, Southern, Eastern, Central, Pacific). 

Course 1: Northern Border- We will learn 13 states that are located on the Northern Border of The United States. We will learn each state and some basic facts about each. We will start learning the song.
Course 2: Southern Border- We will learn 8 states that are located on the southern border of The United States. We will continue to learn basic facts about each state and add onto the beginning of our song. 
Course 3: Eastern Border- We will learn 14 states that border the eastern border of The United States. We will continue to learn basic facts about each state and review the whole song up to this point!
Course 4: Central America - We will learn 17 states that make up central America. We will finish up our basic facts and add onto our song.
Course 5: Pacific States - We will learn the states that border the western border. We will finish up our basic facts and add onto our song. In this class, we will discuss the state that we want to do more research on to create our poster project.
Course 6: This is our last class together! Bring some facts you learned about the state you chose and we will decorate our states together. You can use crayons, markers, glitter, sequence, ANYTHING YOU WANT! We will practice the whole song! 

These lessons will be taught with visuals, sound and video clips to help keep students engaged in the lesson! Of course, we will be learning a song but the perfect singing voice is not required! The most important thing is that the students learn each state and where it is located! 

In the final class, students will decorate their home state using a template provided. We will learn about each student's home state. We will practice the song for a final time and perform what we've learned. There is no pressure to sing alone! Students can choose to sing solo or with the group!
