In this fun interactive course, students will learn letter recognition, the differences between upper and lower case letters, letter sounds, words that begin with, and will practice making the letters with their play-dough or soft modeling dough. Dough can be homemade or store-bought, student does not require a lot of colors or large quantity of dough. Through visuals and demonstration, students gain exposure with the English alphabet. Students will learn upper and lower case letters through the use of soft modeling dough.
At least 1 cup of play-dough, can be homemade or store bought. Learner does not need multiple colors.
"play-doh [and other brands/makes] may contain wheat, which could cause an allergic reaction if ingested in those sensitive to wheat gluten or with Celiac disease." This class is meant to have open conversation throughout the class. It can be tricky for young ones to understand muting/unmuting their microphones, so I welcome them to just leave them on (unmute) so that they can speak freely! It's a small group which means everyone will have time to speak. If background noise is an issue, I will manually mute your child and prompt them to unmute when they are ready to speak.
