課堂經歷
Weekly drawing lessons for this ongoing class stand-alone and are not built upon previous weeks. Artists are able to join and leave at any time. Art supplies are the same whether an artist is joining during week one or week twelve. The type of face style we draw each week will be learner-directed and range from happy to mad, serious or silly. If a student has already drawn the chosen face, Rozine will encourage them to change the size, placement, or expression slightly. Rozine will discuss...
Research shows there is a significant connection between arts and achievement. Coloring develops many talents, such as: • fine motor skills • spatial reasoning • objectivity • visualization • self-discipline • creative problem-solving
Since 2005, Rozine taught cartooning classes to elementary-aged, inner-city children in Chicago and Los Angeles. She is the illustrator, author, and publisher of several all-age coloring activity books and children's picture books. Rozine has several large-scale murals in Southern California and Chicago, Illinois. She creates a relaxing atmosphere, encouraging connection amongst others, as well as confident self-expression.
Students will need their favorite dry coloring utensils: crayons, colored pencils, markers, gel pens. Pencils, paper, and a good eraser are essential.
Inspired by Waldorf teaching methods, Rozine encourages independent thinking and creative problem solving in the classroom. Like the title of her first book, "Live Life For A Living," Rozine is living a dream making a living doing what she loves....
