Hello! Thank you for your interest in my classes. What will be taught? This is multi day English class for beginner learners. These classes aim to teach new learners basic English vocabulary through a variety of everyday topics. They will play games, listen to songs, and practice speaking in complete sentences each week. Through a variety of topics, the goal is to to develop student's vocabulary and build their confidence when speaking English.
I am a qualified primary school teacher with over 20 years experience teaching in the UK and abroad. I also have a Cambridge CELTA, which qualifies me to teach English as a second language. I have been teaching children online since 2020 and currently have a students from China, South Korea, Poland and Turkey.
A handout will be sent to learners who have enrolled. The hand out must be printed before the class starts. Learners will also need: A pencil paper A dice (sometimes) Any Handout provided
In lesson 1 your child will learn the vocabulary for family members. The words covered are: mother, father, brother, sister, grandmother and grandfather. If your child lives with anyone other than these family members, please let me know so that I can include them in the lesson. I do not want them to feel excluded. Also, for your consideration... if your child has recently had a family bereavement that includes any of the above members, this lesson may be quite a sensitive topic for them to cope with.
Enrolled students will be sent handouts to refer to or write on.
