In this interactive, 8-week course, your child will begin to learn to communicate in sign language. No sign language experience is required. Our classes will focus on getting your child comfortable using their hands and face to communicate in sign language. We will use flash cards, props, drawings, and various objects from our surroundings to learn signs. Your learner will also be introduced to deaf culture. I learned sign language from deaf friends in 1992 and have continued to be fully involved in the deaf community since. I am a sign language interpreter. I have taught my children sign language since birth. They have both been used to sign in videos for an international website. My son is an interpreter and my daughter is a sign language teacher.
