透過密室逃脫了解歷史上的著名女性！

Each week will consist of a video lesson which the children can watch to understand that lesson’s learning point, they will then use the knowledge they have gained to take part in group discussion and online escape room games. They will use the OutSchool classroom to support each other and contribute to discussions. 

While this class does not meet live, the children will still be expected to participate by returning videos and photos of their progress and commenting on other’s. Each week learners will need to join in class discussions to expand on how they used the learning point and how they have developed their own ideas. 

Week 1: This week we will start off by looking at Mother Teresa, we will look closely at her life, the things she achieved and the way she impacted society. The class will watch the learning videos and then participate in an online escape room which practices the knowledge we have learnt. 

Week 2: Week 2 is all about Marie Curie. Children will learn about the first woman to win a Nobel prize, how she discovered radium and also the problems she faced in her life. After the learning the students will have another escape room during the week to support their learning.

Week 3: This week we will learn about Rosa Parks. We will study her life, the significant changes she brought about and the struggles she faced. This week learners will again be given an escape room to demonstrate their knowledge.

Week 4: This week we will be studying the life and achievements of Emmeline Pankhurst. We will be looking at how she changed women’s rights and the affect she is still having today. This week’s escape room will have a voting focus.

Week 5: In our final week we will look at Florence Nightingale. We will also be recapping on the previous weeks’ learning as well as a final escape room to practice the things we have learnt.
