Design thinking (in alignment to STEM education) is a very important aspect in the critical thinking process which brings out creativity out of a child's mind. Design thinking process can empower children by providing an active, problem-solving toolkit, which they can then apply to find solutions to a wide range of problems. On a related note, it can help instill a 'MAKER MINDSET' which will be increasingly important in the future.

If you want to learn & design exciting 3D (3 Dimensional) designs quickly then this course is perfect for you. Being an enthusiast engineer I promise that you will be thrilled after completing this course & you will be ready to develop your thought into the design.

In this course students will learn about the following topics:
•	Foundation 3D Design using TinkerCAD
•	Basics of 3D Printing
•	Design & watch the actual 3D printing of the design 


Week 1/Class 1:
In this class, you will learn about the basic of 3D-Design & how to develop design thinking. Also, we will explore TinkerCAD and its functionality. Following topics will be covered:
•	Introduction to 3D Design
•	Aspects to be considered while designing.
•	Software resources for 3D design
•	What is TinkerCAD
•	Functionality of TinkerCAD
        o	Shape repository
        o	Group & Un-group the 3D shapes
        o	Align the 3D shapes
        o	Flip the 3D shapes

Week 2/Class 2:
In this class, you will develop and design some actual products. By the end of this class, you will be confident in putting your thoughts into a design. Following topics will be considered:
•	Let’s build our first design
•	Design a luggage tag

Week 3/Class 3:
We will go deep now in designs. In this class, you will develop and design some complex actual products. By the end of this class, you will be confident in putting your thoughts into a real design. Following topics will be considered:
•	Let’s roll the Dice (Design a Dice from scratch)
•	Ruler rules (Design a Ruler)
•	What after building a design?

Progress Evaluation: I personally believe in the 'Fun Learning ' Environment. So, I believe in evaluating the progress through some interesting, real life and exciting assignments.

Course Material: I will provide the necessary course materials required to keep the learning intact in your mind. (Details will be updated 2 days before the class start)

Important Note: please make sure that you have a laptop or desktop computer with an external mouse attached to it.

I am an Engineer by profession and Teacher by Choice. I love teaching and it's my passion. I am in teaching profession from last 8 years. My teaching experience includes but not limited to subjects such as 3D Design, 3D Printing, Microsoft Excel, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering subjects & Analytical software such as Tableau and Excel analytics.

I have rich work experience in using and designing using TinkerCAD. I have taught several students (School students to adult learners) and they are doing well and still happily and confidently using my teaching. I am very confident that my experience and knowledge set makes me an ideal fit to teach this course.
