In this fun and energetic class, students will learn dance steps from salsa, merengue and bachata. I have performed, entered, and placed in competitions for latin dance. My joy is also helping others learn dance and have fun while doing it. I will warm up the class by doing slow movements and stretches that will prepare the body for the movements of the day. Then, I will explicitly teach dance steps and talk about the rhythm of each type of music. I will end the class with a cool down...
I have been dancing since I was 4 years old. I started latin dancing at the age of 20. I have also placed in some competitions.
Please have a safe and large enough space for your child to move. I also recommend that they have water readily available before the class.
